1. High cooling water temperature and poor condensation effect

Generally, water chillers require working conditions of 30 ~ 35 ℃, and too high temperature will inevitably increase the condensation pressure, especially in high temperature season.
The reason may be the failure of the cooling tower, such as the fan of the cooling tower is not opened or reversed; If the water distributor does not rotate, the cooling water temperature will be high; The external temperature is high, the waterway is short, and the recyclable water is less, which can be solved by adding water storage tanks.

2. The cooling water flow is insufficient to reach the rated water flow

When the water flow is insufficient, it usually shows that the pressure difference between inlet and outlet water becomes smaller and the temperature difference becomes larger.
The reason is that the system is short of water or there is air, which can be solved through system exhaust; If the water quality filter is blocked or too fine, and the water permeability is limited, replace it to solve it.

3. Condenser scaling or blockage

Foreign matters in the condensed water can easily enter the cooling water system, resulting in dirty and blocked condenser, resulting in small condensation heat exchange area and low efficiency.
Touch the condenser with your hand, the temperature is very high up and down, and the liquid outlet copper pipe of the condenser is hot. The unit shall be backwashed regularly and descaled by chemical cleaning.


4. Excessive refrigerant charge

Generally, the suction and discharge pressure and balance pressure are high, and the operating current of the compressor is high.
Some refrigerant can be released to make the high and low pressure side pressure normal.

5. False alarm of electrical fault

Damp, poor contact and damage of relay and electronic board are the causes of false alarm of communication failure. Often, the high-voltage fault indicator on the electronic board is not on or slightly on, the manual reset of the high-voltage protection relay is invalid, and the compressor current is normal.
The relay and electronic board need to be tested, repaired or replaced.

6. The evaporation pressure is too low

The common causes are insufficient refrigerant, insufficient cold water, less cooling load, throttle orifice failure, heat transfer deterioration of evaporator heat transfer pipe due to scale and other pollution, and insufficient refrigerant.

7. The oil temperature is too high

Mainly because the cooling capacity of oil cooler is reduced; The filter screen of refrigerant filter is blocked and the supply of refrigerant is insufficient.

Check the filter screen of refrigerant filter and whether the refrigeration dose is sufficient for filling.

By analyzing the above methods, we can quickly judge the fault phenomenon and principle of industrial chiller, deal with it reasonably, and help the chiller to resume normal production.
